Members Community Credit Union was formed in 1957 under the name of Home-O-Nize Employees Credit Union as an alternative source for financial services for Home-O-Nize employees.

Membership is open to people living or working in Muscatine, Scott, Cedar, Johnson, and Louisa counties in Iowa, and Rock Island County in Illinois, as well as active and retired members of HNI Corporation, its subsidiaries, and their immediate family members.

The credit union embraced broader membership criteria in 2003 and changed its name to Members Community Credit Union in 2006.




Members Community Credit Union, a member-owned financial organization, is dedicated to providing cost effective, quality, friendly, and professional financial services. We will provide competitive products and services while maintaining long-term stability and growth.

We will continue to foster and support the credit union ideals, both in practice and through active participation in the credit union movement at the local, state, and national levels.
